Lemon Grass

Resembling a gigantic weed, lemongrass can grow to a height of 5 feet and is commonly found in Southeast Asia and warmer climates throughout the world. Lemongrass is a favored ingredient in many Asian cuisines because of its tangy and distinctive flavor and is also used in various cosmetics because of its fragrant oil.

Used for centuries in traditional and natural medicine, lemongrass is used to combat anxiety, insomnia and digestive disorders. Lemongrass acts as a sedative for the cravings, nervous tension, restlessness and sleeplessness that can often accompany the withdrawal of nicotine.
